Toews no doubt Toews can put up stats obv not as much points as Crosby but can also play Defence and is the best leader in the league 2 things Crosby can't do….
Honestly it's impossible to really say who is better, they have completely different styles of play. Crosby is by far better on offense and toews is much better on defence, also toews does play on a MUCH better team so using the toews has more cups is not a valid argument, it's a team sport.

Both are skilled but I think crosby's better. Let me break it down. I think Crosby is one of the few players who has very good vision on the ice and can anticipate things before they occur. He can create lots of opportunities to score. What he usually does is use his speed to try and split the defense and drive to the net which is very effective. I think Toews is a better leader for his team but he just doesnt have the attributes he needs to beat Sid.

How can you say Toews is a better captain. He plays on a better TEAM. You don't have to captain shit when your TEAM is stacked. Look at the Penguins in 09. They were fucking stacked! Crosby is the best player in this video and of all time what an amazing talent and a great guy his attitude almost makes the player. I'm sure it's hard to keep your cool when you are being head hunted every game and people calling you a crybaby for it, just the things he does on the ice and the small details of his game are more impressive then his best goals, the way he works in the corners, he always knows where all other 9 guys are on the ice, knowing that an assist is better then a goal….Etc this guy is a major one of a kind and I'm proud to be from Nova Scotia along with Sid, Nathan Mackinnon and sorta Brad Marchand Lol!
