I think it's more progressive to deal with Carragher's statement objectively rather than subjectively. The point is AFCON is not respected as a tournament to the same level as the Euros. We should be asking why is that? Also..do Africans need European validation for a sense of achievement? AFCON is not a major tournament. I'm black and I'm being dead honest the afcon is trash and nobody cares about it at all.
