  1. Unpredictable hockey is entertaining to watch. The defensive team identity that Boughner has been developing took a big hit with this give-away filled game. Great fight at start by Gadjovich, best fight in punches thrown by a Shark this season. It also got team going early, but then they faded or got fatigue at end of game.

Arizona snipers were shooting bullets at Reimer, so he could not stop them on his own or with sloppy defense by Sharks. Everyone was playing in a distracted or zombie like state, delayed reactions and missing the net with a close shot or their passes. Boughner can use the video from this loser-like game to illustrate all the technical mistakes it is possible for a team to make (except lose the game in overtime). Puck luck always matters in hockey and there is no way to guarantee you get it. He has really instilled a fighting spirit in the whole team however and they will fight back from this lowest win of season.

Month of January will be very tough on all NHL teams and the Canadian border/authorities will not let the virus spread from US hot spots, so the season schedule will get shortened or revised soon. January 2022 will be the worst month for the whole pandemic in USA and Canada, so it will disrupt the season when everyone is hiding in the trenches and no fans can watch in their seats. No fans allowed in Canada could make NHL re-schedule more games to the USA where they can accept paying fans in seats.

World Junior Championship tournament in Red Deer/Edmonton has been cancelled as of December 29, so try to get William Eklund back online from Sweden Brodie and see what he thinks of the rest of his adventure in Canada and the season. Sweden's national junior team was playing excellent with Eklund on the power play also, so it is a loss for his development of hockey dominating ability. This is the season of extra suspense in hockey.
