  1. I think Fowler is ready for the AHL but not the NHL yet. Goaltender is such a complex position, the development is always longer IMO. Hage is easily 2 years away. I think he needs a lot of physical development and he needs more time to perfect his game at Center

  2. Montreal loves drafting NCAA players .they have time to develop and become mature players and there is more room to sign them to there entry level deal when they are older unless they are a lane Hutson type player. No way Fowler plays for Montreal this season and

  3. Love to see them stay in school. They got it really good down there. great education. Love to see them graduate.

  4. Montreal is going to get a playoff spot .Have faith .By publicly stating they won’t make the playoffs is that help you to justify it to everyone if it doesn’t happen. You know we have 5 teams at least and only 2 spots up for grabs .islanders ,blue jackets, sens, rangers , and Habs all in the mix .A couple mediocre Monty starts and now you are a pessimist.

  5. What’s really underrated for Fowler is that he’s been practicing against all those offensive stars for two years. NCAA don’t play that many games, but they practice a lot.

  6. Montreal is playing the right way and as a result you see how it now reflects in the standings and the Habs results since the 4 nations tournament break .So Shaun tell why you don’t think the Habs won’t make the playoffs? I’m curious for your answer
