  1. York dont have a big upside 🏒, slow skater especially for His size, small Defensemen not physical and not enough strong physically, no shot, good IQ and block shots nothing else 🤷🏒

  2. I thought York was gonna be something special but honestly he's been a ghost… Time for him to go. And the coach can go with him need better then this

  3. Flyrsr should fire tort, see how it works with new one. Yorky is pretty average, they should have him traded and look for real 1d. waste of time, waste of money

  4. York at the moment is Not a 1st pair D-man on a good or average team. Maybe top on a bad team but not a good team.

  5. York is too soft with no grit or checking ability. He's been invisible this year. Send him back to Lehigh or trade him. Hope we dont resign him. Dump lousy Zamula too!

  6. The situation between York and Torts is a mirror of what happened last year between Coots and Torts. Things seem to be OK with Coots, now, so I wouldn't expect anything different with York.

  7. They over-valued him from the start. Missed out on drafting, was it Makar or Caulfield instead, both turned out to be All-Stars. York is smallish, plays soft, & is rarely mentioned by the broadcasters. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing, but at times he seems quite invisible to be considered a solid #1 shut-down defenseman.

  8. The players should become more consistent, make better decisions, develop further, etc. All well and good, but these questions should also be questioned and asked of the coach himself in terms of truth…
I don't see any further development in the coach's game system or power play.
