If a player makes mistakes over & over blowing his scoring chances or turning the puck over or simply hurting his team they can get cut or sent down to minors so why do refs get 100% immunity from all consequences when they blow there calls & hurt the integrity of rest of the Refs?🤔
Unbelievable what's happened to the game we love. The refs are BRUTAL and it's getting worse with every game. It's hard for me to stomach this and I have a simple request- Let The Boys Play Hockey.
These refs are so out of control, constantly make bad calls and can't take a little heat and the linesmen are just as bad, they hold the puck for the faceoffs WAY too long and then toss players from the circle when they jump in.
It looked like a pretty weak holding call but Kucherov really sold it since he did not have a scoring chance anyway. If it was a hold then it was also embellished. I like Tampa and not Philly so I am probably not biased on this one.
Ref shit the bed on that puck drop, he hesitated after the Flyer's player had his stick on the ice, then was able to win the face-off due to having his stick in a better position. Refs need to get their ass chewed. When players mess up, they have to feel the fury from their own coaches.
Refereeing is worse in the NHL than in the UFC, and the UFC is a clown show. Dana White would lose his mind if 1% of the bad and missed calls that happen in the NHL happened in the UFC. One referee made a mistake in the UFC recently and it was all anyone discussed, and the referree admitted he made a mistake after the fight. In the sport the referees are trying to do a good job, and the president wants the fights to be fair. Apparently Gary Bettman doesnt care if the sport is fair, which is terrible for a sport
