Awesome game by woll . When heās on his game he has a calming presence. Someone said like Carey price ( not saying heās Carrie price ). Stolarz has lost his last 3, he needs to be good tomorrow . It will be interesting to see who they go for #1, I think from now on they will pick whoever is playing better . I think itās anyoneās crease right now but I think itās woll but a slight edge . If Stolarz can play like he did before he got hurt , it will be Stolarz .

Laughton lost his man on power play tonight again. He has been awful if Iām being honest . I really hope he gets better , Carlo has been very solid though. His first game wasnāt good at all , but thatās expected . Since then heās been steady 19-20 min guy who can defend and break plays up and move the puck up .
I can see Lorentz scoring some big goals for the leafs in playoffs.
Leafs media is comical. Leafs have a solid team. They have had a solid team all year. There are 10 teams (by my estimation) that can compete for the cup this year. 5 in the east and 5 in the west. The leafs are one of them. Most important thing down the stretch of the regular season is staying healthy going into the playoffs. Doesn't matter where they finish, it isn't going to be easy. Second most important thing is getting some bounces. They have a solid D. Goalies have looked solid all season. Hopefully Stolarz can get back to where he was early in the season. Go Leafs Go!
Even though they have identical 41-24-03 records, Leafs are in second place because Florida has two more Wins in Regulation than the Leafs 35-33. The Leafs REALLY need to win both those Florida games in Regulation.
Nylander and Tavares havenāt played well together ? Come on guys Tavares is having a great year point a game going to score 30 goals . Willy is going to break his record of goals. Yeah sometimes they donāt have it , but a lot of nights they produce . If they had another winger on there that could score , it would make it way better . Hopefully in summer we get a top 6 winger to play for them on 2nd line next year . Move on from Reilly and get a top 4 D who can score (Bennett )?Leafs are dead last in points from a Defensemen. Lots to be positive about tonight – Gritty playoff style hockey against a top team, Matthews is getting hot and Berube has two in-form goalies. Superb 2 points.

McMann has been atrocious for a while. The other night against Ottawa he was particularly terrible. As for tonight, some of Nylanderās puck possession and skating late down the stretch was nothing short of world class play.
Man, think of the cup(s) the Leafs would have won with 3 solid centers. We were spoiled with Matthews, Tavares, & Kadri. WTF was Dubas thinking .

You gotta appreciate a heart and soul effort like that, to put your body on the line for that courageous diving assist on the game winner, Kelly Sutherland definitely first star of the game.
Woll had a good night, however his game management needs to be managed. There were a number of times he needed to control the play. Freeze pucks to give the guys in front of him a blow. Thatās all a part of his maturation.
Matthews, Marner and Knies were great tonight. Also, Tanev, McCabe & Woll.
Still only 2 goals and one was lucky. This team will only go as far as the goaltending takes them.
The Leafs played their game. Matthews played very well but Woll won the game for them.

Mathews played well because this was a non physical game. If the other team plays physical his play diminishes.
My prediction for who plays goalie in the playoffs is whoever isnāt injured ā¦ these guys are still wildcards in that regard
