The Vancouver Canucks beat the Winnipeg Jets in a huge win. Brock Boeser with two goals, Pius Suter and Nils Hoglander with good performances to dismantle Connor Hellebuyck and a strong Jets team. This was big in the race for the NHL Playoffs Wild Card race, it’s heating up with a big game against the St Louis Blues on Thursday.

Hellebuyck had an off game but he still made 3 or 4 huge saves. Canucks could have had 7-8 goals on a weaker goalie!

I just wrote this game off as a loss. Then I googled after the first period and started laughing when it was 3-1 and started watching.
Thursday's game is essentially the season on the line. It's a must-win, especially given the Canucks brutal schedule for the rest of the season. They will need a 2 point lead on St. Louis to cushion a few of the inevitable losses coming up on the road trip. If they go down 2 to St. Louis I think the season is pretty much done. They could have made this a 3-team race instead of a 4-team race by beating Utah and couldn't even do that on Sunday. Brutal.
