Wish more refs took pucks to the jewels like that Utah/Vancouver game just after the 4 nations, just make it look like a dump in that got away from you, watch they start actually calling penalties instead of managing games to hit their parlays
Just a reminder Connor Zary got this same level of penalty for elbowing a rookie in the back of the head over a clean hit. As if you disnt need more glaring proof that either refs are making them at night, or are betting on the games they call. Hell, maybe even both.
Usually you would see a roughing call, even though I didn’t see any roughing here. Maybe he said something very bad and the ref heard it? Might have called him a stanky-oven?
So a guy on a team ahead 1-0 goes after a future star and the future star gets the penalty. It's amazing how the young future stars like Bedard and Michkov are getting killed by referees. Good job NHL in ruining the future of the sport.
