  1. Dubas has said now multiple times in multiple appearances that Rakell is an extremely important part of the Pittsburgh Penguins winning culture, he wants to remain with the Pittsburgh Penguins and his contract becomes more and more valuable over time if the Pittsburgh Penguins want to expedite their return to contention. Reports say Dubas set the price for Rakell at best prospect plus 2 first round picks. Heโ€™s not negotiating for Rakell heโ€™ll hold him until his contract is up or somebody meets that price.
