The Montreal Canadiens failed to add a 2nd-line centre!

The Montreal Canadiens did not make any moves before the NHL trade deadline Friday.

Were you hoping the team would trade for a second line centre?

Or, are you happy Kent Hughes didn’t make any moves?

  1. Just stay the course. All this wildcard is good for our team, who were n are still rebuilding. Our time is coming boys!😊

  2. I would rathwr montreal stay the course than to give up way too much for a temporary solution. Lets wait to see whats available at free agency, and / or wait that extra year and maybe someone like Hage comes in.

  3. Just on the outside looking in. If we occupied the 7th or 8th spot, I would agree to upgrade our lineup. Hard to make drastic changes when we are still unsure of the possible playoff picyure

  4. I was hoping but being a fan for 55 years they have young talent and laval has playing very well so the future looks so promising this team will be at the top at some point

  5. The price to acquire ANY centre is usually pretty high, but at the trade deadline, when multiple teams are going after a limited number of players, the price gets even higher. I believe the correct move, was no move at this time. In the offseason is the better time to make a trade to get the RIGHT player for the Habs, not just who was available at the Deadline.
