So about the Trouba hit…



Jacob Trouba delivered a brutal hit on Jordan Kyrou, leaving his feet and making direct head contact—checking every box for a dangerous play.     NHL referees in the words of Mills Lane, "I'll allow it." People can hate him all they want, I'm glad he's a Duck, he's added an element of toughness to the roster that they desperately needed.

    The Ducks comms team just like the coaching staff needs changing. Being biased doesn't mean blind loyalty cos you just sound stupid. If the Ducks roster is considered worthy of the NHL then for Pities sake change the coach! Same mistakes time after time & special teams is more special needs at this point. A change is necessary, so why wait?

    Don’t understand this team. We go from a team with high energy, speed, quick passing and shooting in the past games against top rated teams to a team of uncertainty, bad passing, no shooting, no forechecking and no fight. I’m not giving up hopes to make playoffs but not as confident that will happen now. The leaders need to lead and score goals. The Defense since we traded Dumoulin has not looked the same and just flipping the puck out of our end instead of passing or skating it out of our zone. Coaches need to correct this or find a new coach. go ducks 😕

    Having watched guys with a history of hits to the head, including guys who launch themselves off the ice while doing it, walk away with at best a slap on the wrist? I think we're heading back to the days of Pat LaFontaine and Eric Lindros where elite players are sacrificed for our entertainment. We're going to lose a lot of the best players to this sort of garbage. The NHL would rather come down hard on guys like Auston Matthews. It's a joke.

    Refs have been atrocious. These last few days there's been Zary on D-Petey, Dickinson on Celebrini and Chytil, Rempe on Stetcher and now Trouba on Kyrou. All worthy of a major or potential suspension and all called as either a 2 min minor or just plain missed calls.

    Cronin's coaching as if it's 1990. Stop matching the embarrassing 4th line with the top line of the opponents. Why Verbeek is sticking with this absolutely terrible coach is puzzling. The only answer I can come up with is the Ducks organization is only concern with O.C. Vibe. The hockey team is just noise in the background until that project is completed. Convince me that I'm wrong!
