  1. Knoblauch isn’t coaching. If he was, there would be productivity from the bottom two lines. 3&4 play like they’re afraid to make a mistake. They should be playing to wear down the other team physically and creating chances. Instead they look like little scared robots. That’s on the coach. He’ll be gone after round one.

  2. Connor McDavid is the problem this year. He had 64 goals 2 years ago and 24 goals this year. Where would the team be in the standings with 40 more goals this year? All of a sudden the odd goof by Bouchard or softie by Skinner would not be a big deal.

  3. McDavid can have some grace since he has carried this team for years, and he is only human. 29 is carrying this team and it is a good thing as the Oilers would probably be below zero in the standings in the league. I see 33, 13, 28, 19, 2, plus some more that are killing this team and goaltending is another one. I wished they could buy out a couple of them this year, and 33 is one of them. J Skinner is not being played the way he could be, and I would love to see him on either the one or two lines for a few games to see if he can find some chemistry as to have him on the bottom six is not his style.
This team lost so much this year with speed and such, and they said it was because of cap. I beg the difference when they signed Skinner to a 3mill year, let Holloway get away over 2 mill, Broberg was a little high, Hendricks 3 mill and so forth. Between Jackson and Bowman I think they have really harmed this team. Walman and Jones are two that they brought in that may help this team, but this year is still questionable. Ken Holland was suppose to sign Holloway and Broberg earlier in the season and refused to after being instructed to do so.

  4. Who needs to be blamed is the bunch of tools at the top. Need to stop picking up useless players that are either old and hurt. And stop signing players to a no clause contracts.

  5. At this point in there careers patty kane & taser had 3 Stanley cups compared to two stinky overpaid turds 29 & 97 the truth hurts. Button is a idiot!

  6. A big part of their play as of late appears to be their attitude in the locker room and a refusal to do the fundamentals. This is a group of spoiled, entitled, frauds who tried to ride a PDO high to playoff success back to back.

  7. No coaching no defense no scoring no grit no battle and no hitting weak weak weak soft soft soft team are they allergic to hitting

  8. Knob played Skinner at home after he had a new baby. Stop counting on a guy who's not getting sleep. Play him on road. If he's crap show him where Cambell is right now.🎉

  9. Coach shouldnt be letting Nuge, Hyman, Bouchard, Arvidsson, Henrique, and Janmark coast through games like they dont care. Sit their asses for a week.

  10. Knobloch was outcoached for the playoffs last year in every round. Oilers just had the team to win the cup. This year the team is weaker and Knobloch is outcoached in 3/4 of the games.

  11. McDavid isn't playing like Jesus, and Draisaitl can only do so much. He's probably hurt, but mentioning McDavid in the same breath as Gretz and Mario is starting to become rather hilarious.

  12. This is not the time to play the blame game. There are lots of positives to look for and find. No team in any sport is perfect all the time. They ride out the low points and hopefully peak at the right times. Being a fan only when they win is not being a fan at all.
