I was beaming when I heard you tell people what it is you say at the end of your videos. I must have seen a dozen comments over the years asking what that rush of noises was, and every time I tell them it's worth it to go back and watch your first video to find out. Keep up the good work Lego, you know you're doing something right if there are people actively looking to fault you for it.
In the words of the Todd father who was an assistant coach of the wings when Zetterberg was playing "He reminds me a lot of zetterberg" when asked about Marco.
Ive been comparing Marco, To Zetterberg for awhile now. The guy just does everything
Got Kasper on my jersey this year and not regretted it
I believe he will have several ppg seasons, and o do see him as a future leader on this team. I think Raymond’s fire and intensity or Seider’s willingness to be everywhere and do everything put them in line for the C, but Kasper is already well on his way to becoming a future Red Wings legend. Evan when the Wings have a bad game he is one of only a couple that do not take any shifts off. They can be down by 3 goals and he’s still out there chasing dumped pucks.
Z was a great player that came on to a great team. I think Marco’s path may have been a bit easier as the Wings still have a need at forward, particularly center and he was the best of what we had on the way. I could tell in the one game he had when he first came to North America from the SHL that he was all intensity and cerebral. Marco Kasper has the potential to be remembered like other Wing greats of the past.
I think he has interesting similarities in his game. He plays with intensity and smarts just like Z he battles hard along the boards just like Hank did back in the days. He has the fire, compete level and a motor I just saw with Hank. That's a favorite comparison to me too.. I hope he'll be as impactful as Z Was but the sure thing I can say is I'm extremly excited to follow his growth on the Organization.
If someone were to say in 2022 Marco Kasper would have more points in 2025 than Shane Wright people would have laughed.
Shaping up to be a sort of Dawson Mercer type of the NJD.
Red Wings passed on Savoie and Nazar in that series of picks. Many thought Nazar was the player Detroit could want being from Detroit and playing for the Wolverines.
He will never be zetterberg keep dreaming
I will never complain about one of your videos if you tell us what you are actually saying during your sign offs
Kasper and Larkin are possible Selke candidates at some point. As centers go… you could do worse than Larkin, Kasper, Danielson and Rasmusson, in the near future.
I saw him in the preseason against the preds at home, and he scored on a good rush down the middle against 2 dmen trying to take the puck from him. I knew from that that he was ready to start in the NHL. I knew it was the preseason, but his tenacity to keep pushing forward with no hesitation… he's ready to make a name for himself.
I remember someone saying at his draft that his highest ceiling would be Anze Kopitar, he may not be a consistent 100 point producer, but if he hits high you’re looking at a consistent 70-80 point player every year who is a monster on defense.
Excited to see what ceiling he might hit
But wait… I was told over and over that he had only 3c potential LOL
Kid is unreal and just love how everyone thought he didnt have any offensive upside. Truly believe both him and Danielson have 1C potential. At the very least, we cannot possibly rule it out with how hard they both compete.
It seems like the 2way types of players that many criticized in recent years could end up with us having a team that consistently outworks opponents.
Cat Larkin Raymond
Buchnelvikov Kasper MBN
Finnie/Lombardi Plante Kiiskinen
Mazur Ras Soderblom
Also could consider James, NDN, Becher, Beegy, and FAs
Edvinnson Seider
Aljo ASP
Wallinder/Buium/Anjo/Tuomisto/FAs
Cossa
Augustine
Gylander
This team is going to be an absolute wagon. Supplement some FAs as needed as of course all bc of these guys won't 100% pan out, but the future is looking great for the Wings
