They’re Proving a Lot of People Wrong..

OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at the game last night between the Montreal Canadiens and the Florida Panthers.. The Habs won this game by a score of 3-1 and gained 2.. HUGE points to move closer to a wild card position.. The race for the final wild card spot is ridiculously close right now.. But I wouldn’t count these Habs out, that’s for sure.. let’s break this one down!

  1. The Newhook goal should stand since the only contact was initiated by the goaltender, not Gally, but of course that would only matter if it had been the Leafs that scored a goal.

  2. Worse referring ever. Florida's goal scored after a brutally obvious interference play by Bennett.
Dvorak scored after an obvious trip by Gallagher.
And Heineman gets called for standing still and getting bumped into from behind.

  3. Well, I remember the Habs golf tournament at the start of the season. When asked what were the expectations of the season, staff and leadership answered, " We want to be in the mix"
Seems like the goal was announced a long time ago. Nothing surprising.
