Duchene is too old, Habs aren't going to sign for, or trade for anyone over 29. You want someone you can lock up for 5-6 yrs and grow with the team, not a short term solution.

Why are you all excited about a guy that is 33 years old? All this does is put Montreal back in teh same spot a year or 2 away.
I am not sure that Cody Glass should be on this list, if for no other reason that he shoots right handed. But I can think of some others such as not even 0.5 PPG, very little (3 games) playoff experience…Someone please explain why he might have been included in this article other than the writer needed to fill some space? Why do we want him the Habs? What is he going to bring?

There are zero players in free agency that fit Montreals needs ..!! Hard PASS ..!! GO after Quinton Byfield …..6'5" …..22 yrs. OLD ….6.5 MIL. for the next 5 years …PERFECT FIT …!!!!
Duchesne made it clear he has no interest in playing for Montreal. He hated playing in ottawa. He signed with the Preds and they let him go. Now he is with the stars playing at a discount and he loves it

Canada hasn’t seen a franchise win since 93 because free agents won’t sign in Canada. $$$ they want to keep that money.
Of the Free Agents mentioned, I would go with Sam Bennett. He feels like a really good fit for the team. Would love to hear an episode devoted to which Centre the Habs could go after in the off season…
In my eyes, Fowler will be our next Carey Price! I can't wait to see this Kid in a Habs jersey!
