honestly, the utah game wasnt that bad i mean our defense was looking pretty good. but the offense is horrendous. scoring at least once on a 4 minute power play is crucial otherwise playoffs are gonna be much more difficult. assuming we make it there 🤞🤞
Do you think that after the Norris, Cozens trade that buffalo called up Patrick and said Norris for boeser. No way Buffalo wanted to keep Norris. I was anticipating a trade for him. Looking back I would’ve done it knowing brick would just be ass after the deadline. At least that way we can get some depth at center and suter could play on the wing

I shake my head cause the team isn't good. The fact that their powerplay is horrible and they play the dump and chase game with hardly any shot on goal. This team will get easily SWEPT in the first round.

Not to rag on about last year, but I do find it hilarious(ly sad) that 10-11 months ago, against Nashville, we were the "Comeback Canucks", and now we're this.
Winning 2 games back to back that were within 20 hours of each other would have felt like a beautifully wrapped gift. The game felt like it was too soon. Like really I'm watching Canucks already again? It's not a happy season this time. A weird mix of hope and disappointment for myself. I just wanna see them make playoffs again. At this point that's a win even if they get knocked out the first round.
If they still did the missing kids faces on milk cartons, Petterson face would be plastered on every milk cartoon from coast to coast ever few weeks!!
You hate to see it, but as a Blues fan I'm not complaining. Vancouver is falling apart while St. Louis is completely dismantling teams left and right on the best stretch of hockey they've played this season. The playoff race right now is insane.

It’s quite possible the Canucks and Flames will both miss the 2025 postseason, and that instead the Leafs won’t be the only Eastern Canadian team to see playoff action. The playoff races in both conferences have been epic.
Utah does have one of the most underrated defensive lineups, and a lot of teams and fans seem to forget that. I mean Olli Maata has made one mistake all season, outside of a slip up against Seattle that led to a goal, the dude has just been a solid defensive wall for Utah. I am no Canuck fan, even though I love Quinn Hughes’s play, but I think he’d be excelling on a play making team like Utah. I mean him and Keller together on a power play would damn lethal.
As you said in the hawks recap. It’s not if but when… and that’s what I was seeing from the start of the game tonight. Utah just kept the shots and plays coming, while the Canucks just couldn’t get a goal 5v5, or even during a 4 minute power play. Nut as I said, Utah has an unbelievably underrated defense..
UHC has now beaten Van 3 times this season… so glad I’m an Utah fan whenever this match up has happened.
we need these games coming up. Big opponents but hopefully we can rise to the occassion. That game against STL is looking massive right now.
This Jets fan is looking forward to the match on Tuesday. It should be just like a playoff game. It is good for the Jets to play in games that have so much at stake for their opponent. The sprint to the playoffs is the best part of the NHL regular season.
Tocchet has suffocated all of the offence off of this team. He's a great assistant coach, but everywhere he goes his offence withers and dies. Need a change
Yes, but the Canucks are NOT a playoff team..
I'm going to say this again. The team is playing fine. We lost our starting goalie this season and the team is still in a wildcard spot. If the Canucks didn't have that poor start by Silovs at the beginning of the year they could be sitting where the Kings are. The team is playing decent hockey and the fans need to calm down a bit.
Canucks clock wound down half way through the second, you could actually watch it starting to go in slow motion.
