If you wanna know about this game just look at how the 4 line played! Omg they were not only good but dominant, forcing Dallas in the own zone for over 2 mins! PS someone ask Matt where was he in the conference final last year against the Oilers because he al but disappeared during that series! Stop complaining about refs and play hockey!
Am I alone in thinking Dallas is full of players that do borderline dirty things all game, but never back it up? Benn is the biggest offender because he’s always been the type of player to do something sketchy but then skate away, but I see the same thing from lots of guys on the team. Robertson comes to mind as a guy that isn’t considered a “dirty player” but he always seems to do something like elbow a guy and then skate away.
I’m probably just biased because Dallas is my most hated team but it does seem like they do lots of questionable things that are right on the edge of being dirty. Classic Pete Deboer coached team imo.
Feels great to beat them and I can’t wait to beat them in the playoffs
Rantanen knows NOW that he & his agent screwed the pooch re contract talks with McFarland. For a guy who "never wanted to leave the Avs", he certainly failed to behave that way. Duchene still pissed that the Avs were AWFUL during his seasons in Denver. Acted like a bellyaching spoiled brat before being "deported." Sent his sorry derriere to Buffalo as his reward. Ryan O'Reilly was likewise sentenced to the hockey gulag when he talked his way out of Denver years ago — the early version of Rantanen.

People complain about Dall being dirty: No, Col needs to learn something here. That play is needed come playoffs. Col began its collapse when March started dishing out hits and nobody on Col took any issue. That's the softness that allows other teams back in. As badly as Col outplayed Dall on the ice, Dall was almost able to cancel out all of it on the scoresheet simply by playing big boy hockey. Disappointing
