Colorado broke the scoreless tie late in the second period when Jacob MacDonald found the back of the net with just 12 seconds remaining. Jayson Megna extended the Eagles’ lead in the third period with a shorthanded penalty shot goal, and Chris Wagner sealed the victory with an empty-netter in the final minutes.
