Riz!! Great video summary – thanks for the content. Really dig you and Chris and all the work you put in up to the draft. Unfortunately, the live draft party with Chris, the lead singer from Creed, and some guy that looked like he was holed up in Idaho about to announce his ransom demands was not so good. The value of DLP is the thoughtful analysis you presented here, not d-bags (including commenters like Don Bur) ripping fans who disagree and slurping the Lions kool-aid without any analysis or thought at all, meanwhile trashing every other team as morons. If that drooling groupthink is what passes for thoughtful debate in the slack, I’ll gratefully pass, but look forward to your post-draft discussions at some point. Thanks again & GO LIONS!

Both picks will produce. With bone head Jamieson out til the 7 game of the season this no 12 pic will deaden the sting with his ability to take the top off with his blazing speed. Pick 16 is exactly what the Lions need to help stop offensives from gashing the middle. Complain all you want about mock draft placement, in the end it's how the players help the team. Thanks

I was shocked and a little disappointed but I'm good with it, they got their guys. I like the players and picked many in my own mock drafts but I had them taking them later. I get it though and we got 4 players that are plug in play and I loved the Hendon Hooker pick as well as the Branch pick.

LBs like Campbell have a huge impact on the defenses they play for and are often among the most popular and durable players for their teams. Franchise guy.
With Monty and JG in the backfield it’s going to be amazing. Mr Holmes wanted JG to being with and he got us Laporta also with nothing loss. I was geeked to get him. (Captain) Jack is another great pickup. You have to ask yourself. Would you give up a 1 st round pick for a great LB or RB. Of course you would especially at being just 22 years old. These 2 guys will be great Lions for years to come. They knew who they were going after from the beginning of the draft.
This was a great draft. So happy with the job Brad Holmes has done I think Dan Campbell will win the division with those players. Heck may be we will win a playoff game for the first time since I was 10.
Most of the people upset about the draft and where players where picked was the mockers. Brad Holmes made them look stupid that’s why there was so much hate on day 1. Day 2 Brad Holmes killed it again. I was stoaked at getting Branch and Hooker. Next year’s draft it will be all about the trenches.
