10 years after one of the greatest runs in Senators history, ‘The Hamburglar,’ Andrew Hammond, returned to Canadian Tire Centre with his family to meet the team and perform the ceremonial puck drop.

I have fond memories of the Hamburgler's run and the Sens making the playoffs. A notable part of the Senator's history. Very impressed with Andrew Hammond, a very humble person. So glad the Senators organized this celebration so that he could share our fan's appreciation for a remarkable player with he and his family. Well done!
I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was building in a bad neighborhood that went belly up. I was just stupid to build, and because that's what everyone said, it's more profitable than prefab homes. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. His run was probably one of the best memories I have as a sens fan. When I tell people about this they still don't believe me. Hamburgler will never be forgotten
I was at this game, felt like a surreal experience seeing Hammond in-person again, 10 years after he captivated us fans and put the entire city on his shoulders. So happy for him to get to experience this with his wife and kids, I hope they grow up to realize how much of a legend their dad is in the nation's capital.
The 2015 Sens team was not in business to be on the playoffs that year, if not because of the hamburglar run. Also, the same year, we lost Spezza, and EK65 became the new captain for Sens. While we still had another year of a playoff in 2017, the contender window for Sens had rapidly closed in the years following, marking the beginning of the gong show era 🙁
