Honestly guys you arent wrong, but from a standpoint of mental balance do you think criticism of a goalie is going help his play improve or cause further issues if he were to catch wind of your comments. That goes for every type of player. When I listen to Sportsnet and Tsn its hard to imagine you are helpful. These players are aware of everything you say. Freddy is fine. Cambell is fine. The Leafs are fine. It's the talk shows that are causing mental imbalance within the city. And ultimately it's the media that is f***ing this up for every TML's team. Go easier on them. Glynn, Ennis, Sixeiro, Bunkus?, Hayes, O'dog like wtf. Chill out.
I am a Leaf's fan and I believe in the Leaf's but man Leaf's fans are just nuts and crazy. Freddie's record 28-
13-6 but he sucks, team not succeeding because of him, Freddie hurt this team or killed this team,trade Freddie put in Campbell. The non sense continues. WTF there is no store only for the Maple Leaf's that you can go out and get Goldie's and defense men . For example how would you like to have San Jose or Nashville defense on the Leaf's with all there great player's. Here is another one about Babcock he knew nothing about hockey but he only won a cup and gold medal and stuff.Leaf fan's are nuts but I love the Leaf's cause you never know what your going to get and it is emotional fun exciting hockey.
His rebound control has been terrible recently, especially over the 3 wins

You do realize that this season has been the worst defensively for the leafs compared to the past three. Yes, andy needs to be better but at the same time it doesnt help that players in front of him doesnt play defense. Lot of goals that went past him are like impossible to save. Its pretty obvious that Freddy has been the MVP of this team ever since he came to toronto and hopefully he can find his groove when playoffs come along
Cujo was never save percentage stat nor was Grant Fuhr, what they did was win games and for Fuhr won a few Cups, but if you where put Anderson on waivers just saying he would be taken in second, blame the goalie yah some nights they can't stop a beach ball then other's nothing gets through, but it's team that wins games and wins cups,
Here’s the issue. Anderson used to bail out this teams terrible defence and play out of his mind. Now that he’s not playing out of his mind people think he sucks. My issue is how the team infront of him responds when he’s in goal these days. They seem more alive and better Infront of Campbell. Anderson also has let in a softie once a game recently… but again goalie can bail u out only so many times.

As a Leafs fan and huge Andersen advocate, he's has a completely garbage year that you can only blame so much on the defense for.
I feel terrible for Freddy, this Leafs team gives up way to often in front of him. Freddy is still fresh back from injury, he is probably still in fear of getting hurt again because they do leave him out to dry. Freddy is struggling but he is still one of the best in the league. Still have to be responsible in own end. Goalie who come back from injury generally struggle due to worrying about getting injured further

When you have a defense that includes holl, dermot, marincin who give up 3 turnovers each, per game you have a problem. I decided to watch colorado, canes, dallas play defense. What I found is that they limit turnovers especially in the slot. Less high scoring chances equates to better goal tending. You put anderson on a team like the hurricanes he will have a save percentage of 0.930. To question Anderson is foolish. This is why Torontos media is toxic.
To blame the goalies when talking about the Leafs defensive play in their own zone as got to be the most asinine thing I've ever heard. These guys wouldn't know how to play simple defense let alone NHL caliber defense, when you see 3 guys in the corner trying to get the puck from 1 guy and 2 opposing players waiting in front of the net for the eventual keystone kop moment when they receive the puck on a silver platter, you know what will happen next…it's so painful to watch, poor goalies…how many times in a game can you be left high and dry…every game they put us through the chicken with their heads cut off routine which of course leads to the inevitable goal…brutal.
Talking about goalies, price is supposed to be the best in the world, he looks pretty bad at times hasn't won very many playoff games what's up with that.can someone tell me. He's been with Montreal a long time.

TEAM defense is non existent. Championship teams have the FORWARDS commit to playing defense as much as offense. Maybe the D core is subpar, maybe Andersen’s numbers are subpar, but the superstar forwards certainly aren’t committed to team defense (back checking, laying out to block shots, board battles in the d zone, finishing checks, etc)
He’s overrated.
His save percentage last year was 21st for goalies that played 30 or more games
