  1. How on earth can Nick Lardis score over 70 goals and lead the entire CHL and still not even be a tier 4 prospect?? Why do people keep doubting him

  2. The free agent market this year is TERRIBLE. You absolutely have to get good pieces through trade. I really don't like any of the names you brought up. Marner feels like a trap for this team, Skinner is an absolute lost cause. Going from Seth Jones to Erik Karlsson (for assets) is just lol.

The Blackhawks suck, and it's because of the hole they dug themselves into. If you want to tank instead of retool, you're going to get into a terrible position, and free agency wont get you out of it. They are going to end up having to bide their time, but what they should've already been doing is pursuing young high-ceiling names. Guys like Kaapo Kakko and Dylan Cozens come to mind that were traded this year. Use free agency to get veteran guys who can set an example (paying for John Tavares who has leadership experience doesn't seem like too bad of an idea). All Davidson used FA for was to autopilot and get bums who could get him to the cap minimum lmfao.
