  1. The fact that I knew this was a development year & Rozier was never a long term option in the summer, way before Spo did is inexcusable.

How many close games have the Heat lost? Saying playing Rozier or not wouldn’t have made a difference is false when every point counted and every missed assignment counted or missed rotation counted.

I knew Spo was having a horrible season when every game we needed a defensive stop to win & Spo put Tyler AND Rozier out there to close.

Not knowing your personnel’s strengths and weaknesses and instead going on your own hope is bad coaching

  2. Agree with Rochester that the talent sucks. But to say that Spo is blameless is a ridiculous take. The reliance on Terry minutes. The Terry/Tyler combination. The time out screw up. Sticking to rotations that lose leads within minutes. Come on – Spo has been terrible.

  3. What keeps Eric from tanking is the fact we have an all star Tyler Herro and an all star Bam who just can’t be a part of a tanking team. If he legit tanks his reputation as a coach will plummet

  4. This is not a problem of not getting enough from your best players Tyler, Wiggs and Bam are doing enough the issue is were not getting enough from the role players!! Comparing the HEAT and Warriors the difference isnt having or not having Jimmy Butler The warriors have a ALL TIME Great in Steph Curry and consistent contributions from role players while Tyler, Wiggins and Bam are playing good ball each can give us 20 a night but no consistent play from the role players

  6. It's HILARIOUS that u guys will give Jimmy more credit when he scores 6 pints than Wiggins when he's scored a easy 20 almost everynight. Last game he had 8 straight points coming out of halftime but it doesn't move the needle because nobody else other than Tyler contributed

  7. Everyone having to play one notch up….i totally agree with that…even when jimmy was here he had to play one notch up…probably why he’s looking so good in golden state…he’s really a number 2

  8. We’re not even close to being a contender, but if Spo were doing a good job, we have enough talent on this team to not be a total embarrassment.

The didn’t look well coached last year either.

  9. The reason why JJJ is only playing a handful of minutes a game is not because he plays bad or is having a Sophomore slump. He can be a point Forward, hustles on defense, footwork on offense, gets to the free throw line and hits an occasional outside jumper. To name a few. The reason why Spo doesn't play JJJ is the same reason why Jimmy left. Spo wants Bam and Herro to handle the ball on offense at the top of the key and have everyone else go out in the perimeter to shoot 3's. JJJ or Jimmy do not benefit from this style of offense. Players like JJJ need to be a point Forward and either drive to the basket to get to the free throw line or pass it to the 3 point shooters or alley oop to the bigs. But to have JJJ in the corner and not producing is not his fault it's the offensive scheme Spo and this coaching staff insist on using. With players who have no business doing it. Taking away the mid range game and making Bam shoot 3's is the worst adjustment we could have done this season. At this point being 7 games under .500 just play the young players. And give JJJ at least 24 minutes. Then we can say it's JJJ's fault if he doesn't perform. But these 6 minute stints are pathetic. As a result people blame JJJ like they did with Jimmy.
