There should be NO safe players on this team period. The core has failed Dahlin, UPL, Samuelsson, Tuch and COZENS have all FAILED. You can't expect to get to the playoffs next year keeping the same old bullshit players. After every game since the Granato years all we hear is "we have to get better" "we have to go through it" blah blah blah and it's our dam captain saying this bullshit. If Dahlin wants out get him out PERIOD. He hasn't done anything for this team to get us in the playoffs and I don't give a dam what Cozens, Eichel, Reinhart etc etc does on any other fucking team they never did a dam thing here in Buffalo.
I hate harping on this. But it’s the same old thing year in year out for 14 years now. I feel as all hope is lost and nothing will change. This franchise doesn’t care about the fans or the product on the ice. It literally just feels as if Terry used them to get his door in the foot in order to buy the Bills.

Cozen has 3 pts in 3 games, he's on a team that is motivated. Savoie has 8 points – 4/4 in the last 10 games, (AHL) You think Adams would buyout anymore players ? You got 4.6, 6.6, 2.4, 2,4 mil left on skinner's contract. 5 RFA, 3 UFA are left. Krebs has 1 more year left – Vegas saw nothing in him and neither do I
I'd buyout samuelsson as well if there's no takers for a trade. Imo he's dead weight. He's expected to be a strong foundation for the defense and half the time he's absent and the other half he's failing. I'm over him and don't see him ever living up to his contract and expectations. Give up and cut him loose. Spend that money towards Byram

Doesnt matter what Dahlin says he is stuck on this team & waisting his time here. Say what you will he is totally frustrated. Players on this arent the foundation like Krebs, Quinn, sorry to say Powers & Benson who should be in Richester. But it all comes down to Management , poor coaching . That fifth goal a few minutes ago was pathetic. These guys are standing around completely oblivious to opposing players in a scoring position, no puck awareness, just standing around watching the game. Kids… 3-5 Wings😂
Why play lafferty over Rosen ? Why give greenway 8 million, for defense? Why give sucker 9 mil ? Your high hopes for the future sabres is admirable but very delusional. BENSON needs to get some strength. He has a very difficult time staying on his skates . Just like Quinn
We need to throw the house & kitchen sink at Mitch , Bennett and Elhers. Top teir UFA'S next year. One of those players need to be a Sabre next year.

Owen No Power has zero heart, skills, or hockey smarts. He is good at being super tall and screening his own goaltender tho

I disagree with this entire premise. The conversation is based upon a months worth of meaningless games. There is nothing any player can do over this last month that should be given any value. Outside of Dahlin and maybe Benson, there isn’t a single player I want to see back next year.
Owen Power definitely belongs on this list. Start hitting or start packing.

They're playing badly as a team. Adams and Ruff need to move on. Don't make any more stupid trades until they get some better leadership at the top.
If we had 9 "Benson type of players" to round out the bottom 9 we would be a playoff team, lol, some of our fans are braindead from all this losing, Benson is one of the only guys that is constantly buzzing after the puck, you never see benson take any plays off, you need guys that are hard/annoying to play against, points aren't everything, we are just lucky he hasn't given up yet. He is still 19 years old and is on track to slightly improve from his rookie year on a declining team in terms of wins. We need more players like Benson, not less…..
Samuelsson, Krebs, Quinn, Lafferty can all be shown the door. UPL has played himself into a time share next season with Levi. Let them both play 41 games. Rotate every other, every 2, w.e. it is. Other teams do it. Levi has earned it.
As for the rest of this season, lose lose lose. What's another month of losing to ensure a better draft pick/player.
