The Ducks put on a show with some absolute perfect shots in a 5-2 win over Vancouver. After a rough start, they dominated the second period, scoring three beauties—including a rocket from Vatrano and a snipe from Gauthier. The Strome line was buzzing, and even the penalty kill gave the team momentum. Mintyukov brought the feistiness, LaCombe stunned Hughes, and the Ducks actually played for something late in the season. Playoff hopes are still slim, but hey, we’re enjoying the ride.     They better not send Colangelo down, he was great. I'd love to see him on a line with Gauthier and Zegras when he returns, he seems to have something going with Gauthier already and I think Z might be a good fit between them.

    Ducks are playing with speed, moving the puck and shooting quicker. Forechecking is picking up as well as going to net. All the little things that make for great hockey teams. We completely need to change what we are doing on the power play. Guys need to keep moving, park someone in front of the goalie and just get pucks to the net. Good bounce back after being down 2 goals. Let’s get the next one…need to play Chicago like we played Dallas. Hard, fast and hit/check everyone. Go Ducks!

    It would be a huge boost if the Ducks make the playoffs! It'd be a boost to the confidence of the young guys; it'd validation of the progress the team is making. It'd be nice to break the playoff drought.

    Good to see them bounce back after losing to the worse team in the NHL over the passed decade. Being within reach of the playoffs is the carrot our horses need. Go Ducks!

    I would love to see the Ducks qualify again for the playoffs but I'm worried about the rough schedule. Their next game againt Vancouver is gonna be cucial, and it's gonna be just 24h after they play in Edmonton with the Canucks having a pretty decent rest before the game =/

    Garland has been annoying to me since his days at the Roadrunners. Back then it looked like he got his gear in the kids section.

    I mean, dumping is a part of the game. There are bad dumps and good dumps. Part of the coaching is probably about teaching when a dump is good and when a dump is bad.
