  1. Merilainen will most likely be the backup next year if Forsberg doesn’t re-sign here. He’s been the better goalie, tbh

  2. This team has proven that they can hold its own with the best in the league. Most important thing is that they play all 60 minutes, and that they play their game consistently.

  3. Our next backup is definitely going to be Merililanen he's a huge reason why the Sens are in a 1st wildcard spot he saved our season when Ullmark was injured and has proved to us that he's got what it takes to play at NHL level. Really hope he becomes our new backup. Soogard is just not a consistent enough goalie he needs more time in the AHL before coming over to the NHL.

  4. Mads has thoroughly been passed by Leevi, who will get a multi year one way in all likelihood. They may even dump Mads since he has a one way

  5. I would not have the Sens making the playoffs and the Bruins missing the playoffs this year on my bingo card.

  6. I think Ottawa could upset any team in the East, but they don't have the depth to handle more than a couple injuries to key players, as we saw with their most recent 5 game losing streak, or even having key players go cold. When they're playing well, they can take anyone, but a lot will have to go right for them if they face Washington or Florida.

  7. As a young sens fan I remember the day the sens lost the playoffs I was heartbroken as a kid but now as an adult it’s been an amazing journey I just knew at some point sens would make the playoffs in the 2020’s I hope it’s this year I’m slowly getting bored of the same matchup and I want to see something new but seeing my favourite hometown team being in the wildcard it’s been a burst of faith they’re having fun out there like young teen adults they don’t look sad or anything I think sens have a very bright future with so many youngsters and really good veterans. But it’s just a matter of time and hopefully the sens pickup some great players when the veterans retire cause they only have a little bit years in the tank vs the youngsters they got plenty.

  8. 0:47 which there window to win is much shorter. I feel we went all in again. If we make the playoffs, I will enjoy it this year because we may not be back for awhile because of our prospect pool.

  9. That Dylan Cozens trade looks amazing. Not that Norris have done bad at Buffalo but Cozens have:
    4 games played
    2 goals including 1 GWG
    2 assists
    0 PIM
    plus/minus 5.

Even Zetterlund trade looks good, although he haven't scored any points yet, his line have the highest xG% in the Detroit and Boston games.

  10. They got the number one center they have been needing for years and hardly cost them anything got claide giroux for nothing also and the guy loves it there

  11. Sogaard over Levi? Did u even do ur homework? Sogaard has been injured all season while Levi single handedly put the Sens in this position back in December.

If Levi didn't win all those games, the Sens would be out chasing the bottom pack right now

  12. As a Lwafs fan, I want the battle of Ontario back. It's been so long since both were good at the same time.

  13. My man Shannon!! Love your love for my team …. my son is 17 and has no idea of the good ol days. Great end of season, still hockey to be played, no foot off the gas, let's go!!!
