Amazing job fooling a ref, but the ref should be embarrassed. This is the type of call you make when you saw the end result of something happen, and then recreate the beginning in your mind, thinking you know exactly how that occurred or something… Ridiculous

Go back and watch the recent Oilers/Panthers matchup. Leon scored, why? Cause he knew Forsling had him beat, lifted Forsy stick and held it until he got past him and scored against Bob, accompany that with the multiple no calls against Oilers, it still wasn't enough.
I hate that stars can get away with that shit, David Pastanak is also a major flopper too.
I also remember the Rangers/Panthers series in a MUST win Z tried to flop a high stick call instead of playing the puck which led to a cats goal lol.
Yall can win and dominate without trying to get an easy powerplay, but refs are fucking stupid. I don't remember the player or team but homie lifted the ops stick INTO HIS OWN FACE and got a high sticking call. It's a fucking joke.
All those dudes I mentioned are so good at the game, it sucks to see them do shit like that, they don't even need to do it.
Draisaitl does this shit alot to get a call for the oilers he and connor should focus more on not coughing up the puck costing the team goals and being lazy not helping chase back or leaving the ice right after so there plus minus isnt ruined. you couldnt pay me to have either in the team, and spare me the points BS where they cost as much as they score its not worth it, not even close.

i don`t understand that call. Drai is ahead and leans in, it`s him initiating the contact. So that`s just nothing? I neither see an INT (by none of them) nor an embellishment (Drai just falls as his skate gets taken out, but that`s on him for leaning in). Do not call it at all, regular fight for position.
If soccer had this rule, there would be no one left on the pitch. Sure, LD embellished a touch because he didn't see a scoring opportunity, but there have been much worse, usually the phantom high sticks.
I think that’s a simple interference penalty! The Islanders player clearly pushes his legs into the back of the Oilers player’s legs. Draisaitl did NOT have the puck: interference in today’s game.
Personally ild rather them just get rid of the emblishment penalty. I dont want judgement calls from refs decidng games. Ild rather uts just be the interference call, but on draisaitl since hes the one that initiates the contact with the guy away from the puck
Absolutely no call needed on that play. It's not interference when a guy skates into you, and it's not embellishment unless the guy who falls makes an acting job of it or whines. Draisaitl just got up and kept skating. Really no reason for refs to get involved in this nothing play.
