  1. This guy is nuts. Really could have severely injured him. 20 games would really send this knuckle head a message.

  2. Zack Kassian should have been suspended rest of the season and forced to take anger management training.. Imagine if he caught the guy in the throat. He is a pro so saying it was reactionary is no reason. His emotions always get the best of him and it is possible he could end someones career because of it. He is not helping his team at all by getting suspended so it shows no respect to them at all.

  3. kassian is a dirtbag. He was upset when Tkachuk rall him over twice. Said those hits could've hurt him,…WTF does he think the kick would do. Idiot

  4. The kick in and of itself was no big deal, but the guy needs to get the message that he has to control his use of deadly force better before he slices and dices someone where the protection isn't so thick. I think the 7 games and hefty fine should be enough for now.

  5. So tim and sid bring on the c squad, and this is their take? These "hosts" are a joke and the department of player saftey is a joke. Chara fine, kassian suspended 7 games.

  6. They are over reacting. Yes it was dumb. But 7 games ehh. The league is so wussy now. Im biased as a oiler fan.i realize. I definitely think he deserved punishment. My problem is some players get off lightly, chara, cough, cough. And others get severe punishment. The league doesn’t seem to have a set standard. But no question it was not very smart .

  7. Kassian deserved the 7 games for full blown stupidity (Honestly Kass use your brain!), but its so obvious that this was so minor, and its proved as NOBODY WAS INJURED! Where Chara`s hit and Bertuzzi`s hit on Arvidsson were WAY WAY WORSE!

  8. Man I've never seen so much outrage over nothing in a comment section #Metoo, smh, a reasonable person would direct their distaste towards Chara and that abomination of a cross check. Don't you people realize shoulder pads come with chest protectors. Crybabies the whole lot of ya

  9. I shouldnt feel like I can replace these two yet I do. Horrible segment and horrible discussion on a huge topic. Actually there was no discussion it was just making Kass sound like an idiot instead of breaking down the situation.

  10. 2 things.

    1. Who the heck are these guy's, where Tim and Sid???
    2. These 2 clowns are talking like Kassian is the dirtiest player in the league, he's not but he's up there.

  11. U media dinks always just try and make way bigger then it is.. Goodness,, you be in the heat of the moment and think you’ll do everything by the book.. Damn

  12. And he's only had 7 suspensions in 10 years as a slight Enforcer not that bad in the game of hockey if you've ever played it

  13. Kassian is the GOAT hockey is turning soft it really sucks but like he said he was trying g to get him off its not as bad as people are Puting it the guy didn't even get hurt

  14. Thank you NHL for the suspension, although it's not long enough this type of behavior is not welcome in the NHL. He is very hot headed and his excuses from his interview is absolutely bullshit.

  15. In the real world the courts can label you a "dangerous offender." Pro sports would do well to do the same. This is not a one-off. He has a long history. Long enough to change his act. Which he hasn't. He should be suspended indefinitely. And then be allowed to make a case for re-instatement. Until then hockey can get along without Kassian.

  16. You can't tell if Kass actually hit the Cernak in his chest with his blade, or just the hard toe of his skate boot. Terrible camera angle for the rush to judgement. Additionally, it's clear that Cernak was pleased as punch to have two Oilers tangled up on the ice while his team continued to possess the puck, plus he was clearly going to be the first player to jump back up, creating nearly a 4.5 on 3 situation for his own team. Plus Cernak didn't throw Kass the hairy eyeball after the play, which he would have done had the kick been vicious, or sliced through his jersey. Stupid as all hell, but maybe seven games was about right after all.

  17. And this is why Vancouver traded Kassian. He is a dumb ass. Just doesn't think. He throws his body around and doesn't think if could hurt someone until after. Glad Tkachuk plastered him, and I hope Kassian gets his bell rung more. Flipping idiot has to learn you just can't not think. Sure he is productive in Edmonton, but if he was any smaller he would be useless and wouldn't even been in the league anymore.
