GUESS THE SECRET NHL PLAYER

Can these NHL prospects guess the secret NHL player??? We asked Carson Rehkoph, Jack Ivankovic, and Porter Martone of the Brampton Steelheads sat down with Corwin to see if they could figure it out for the second edition of Guess the Secret Hockey Player. Five anonymous people enter and all of them will say they are an NHL player, but only one of them is. Corwin and the Steelheads will ask six rounds of questions, and eliminate players one-by-one to decide who they think is the pro hockey player.

  1. I love how these guys act like because they didn’t make it to the NHL that they were weren’t close. My brother played on the USA under 18 at age 16 and was scouted for the NHL when he was playing junior B hockey in Ohio. He required shoulder surgery and that ended his career just age 19. For myself, I didn’t start entering major tournaments until I got Lasik surgery. I used to be good at hockey. I was never great until I got my vision corrected. I had to choose between playing for the Charlotte checkers on a one year contract or finishing business school and only playing hockey for fun and I knew I wasn’t good enough to go to the NHL and I didn’t think I personally didn’t think I would even be on the second line For the checkers and when you know where you lack even with better coaching and better hockey systems, it’s still hard to walk away from a degree that you can never go back to

So the whole point of the story is that it’s very hard to make it to the NHL, but there are only so many players in the country every single year whoever gets to play at the levels those guys did because the NHL is right below those levels. Most of the guys I knew that played professional hockey, which is still very limited. They play junior A hockey and they went pro. The guys that I know who made it to the NHL didn’t last long mainly because the teams they were drafted to were completely healthy and very good teams so the only chance you got is if a player got injured and if it’s a great team, as soon as that player is recovered, no matter how good you’re doing They are going to replace you and put that player back.
It’s not always about how good you are when you get drafted to an incredible team and not one of the mid market or poor performing teams they will never give you a chance in the NHL when your contract is 750,000 and the player you’re replacing is 7.2 million a year

  2. ❤❤❤❤ Dustin Brown 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  3. Number 1 tried to make it sound like he was drew commesso saying he game in for soderbloom vs isles then played next game but then said he played juniors instead of college. And also he is not 6’2”

  4. As soon and Woll started talking (the 4th one in the brown sweatshirt) I knew immediately that it was him. He’s my favorite goalie 🥰

  5. Corwin had the format down much better and did a great job getting the convo going between the boys. The guys in the lineup had some personality too. This series is only getting better

  6. Body shape alone you can basically guess its either number 4 or 5 (white + brown hoodies). 2 is sorta kind of close if you consider he let himself go but doesn't have the lower body of an enforcer. 6 get out of town and 1 is to tiny in every regard, is he still rocking junior shin pads?

  7. RIP the Newmarket Hurricanes 😢 at its peak that version of the franchise had more ppl attending games than some OHL teams

  8. Could tell it was the brown hoodie right away. Just based on the fact that his clothes fit him the best (everyone else looks so sloppy) and his stance/stature, very straight posture and looks athletic.

  9. Dude I took one look at your post and immediately knew it was brown sweater. Real ones can spot another hockey guy from a mile away.

  10. Casey Fitzgerald also played with Woll and White on BC, and won the 2017 WJC gold, and has 63 NHL games played, and is still playing.
