WHEN Nuge struggles?? He ALWAYS struggled. He got hard carried to a 100 point season, he can't score on wide open nets, he can't one time a puck… He's awful. ZERO offensive production and even his 100 pt season, if you take away mcdavid and drai from those points, he would've had 15-20
Bouchard doesn’t get back to make a play. Bouchard is scared to get hit and it costs turnovers all the time.

Nurse is way over paid, and Bouchard is no where near 10mill a year. Maybe 5-6 mill a year. Give him a bridge deal and see if he will be a consistent player worth what he thinks he should get. If he gets what he wants, then give Walman 10 mill as he has played like a dman here. You can't blame Eklom for Bouches turnovers, and mixups. It goes to show you that Bouch can't play a star game when he is playing like he has been. Mattias is a good dman, but if Bouchard thinks he is worth the bank, then he should be covering for Mattias when he is off. Not one player is worth all the millions they get. I know it is a rich man's sport, and a senior like me and my peers just can't go to a game because of the cost of them, and much of it is of these outrages contracts they are getting. Even 97 is making too much and if he can't live off what he is getting now and still want more in his next deal, is this fair to the fans who pay their deals?
The way Bouchard is playing defense this year,it cost him money. Just look at last game, it`s 2:2 and he`s loosing out a puck battle where he has a head start. So sloppy. So effortless.

Bouchard, sign him long term for 6m or so, he can be a valuable offensive minded 2nd pair RD, but you can`t shelter him all the time with Ekholm and he can`t play with Nurse.

Sorry, are you on drugs. Just because you get a raise in cap doesn't mean you need to spend it. Bouchard is worth maybe 5 mil on a 2 year deal. As far as Nurse is concerned i feel the same. There is another way to look at these contracts. If you want to give them a larger money deal on short term only. Seems fair to me . The problem here is that everybody feels because you get more money for cap space , YOU SEND IT. I can see you have know idea how to manage finances. Check out other teams cap space. One more thing I feel is if Edmonton doesn't win cup this year I see Conner making a move.
