2 games and a fine. I don’t think he intentionally went for the head but that was the result. Ras was slowing down so the timing of the hit was off. When you attempt an open ice blowup hit these things happen. It’s why there aren’t as many these days, cause it’s easy to get penalized. Although no penalty called on this one, it was badly missed.

Rasmussen is watching his dump in for way too long. I swear these guys think they can skate around with their head down, take a heavy shot and get injured, inevitably getting the other guy suspended. I'm so sick of people calling these 'dirty' plays when his head is clearly not a swivel and has put himself in a vulnerable position.
Edit: Zegras took the opportunity. Rasmussen failed to keep his head on a swivel and failed to be aware of his surroundings. I say 1 game max.
Just saw this for the first time. Ras will probably admit he was dumb for watching the pass but there's no question Zegras targeted the head.

WAY late, right to the head, totally blindsided Rasmussen. Not a hockey play because there was no real reason to hit him then. A fine and a couple games at least.
