  1. Lines need to be balanced.

    First line:
    Caufield(Sniper)-Suzuki(Two-Way C)-Slafkovsky(Playdriver)

    Second line:
    Laine(Sniper)-Fill in the blank-Demidov(Playdriver)

Essentially we need a second line C that has similar attributes that Suzuki has. They thought it would be Dach. Hage? Beck? Maybe. But I think they make a big trade this summer to acquire one.

  2. ANA will turn out to be the Western Conference version of BUF if they don't start changing their plan.
BUF are showing why it's bad to have a team with all young players. Kent Hughes isn't doing the same and I am glad.
Other teams should watch and learn how the Habs are lifting themselves out of the bottom 7.
Haters of the Yzer-plan would want them to keep tanking and get picks, but look at them now, they're not that far.
It's the same for OTT and MTL right now. Watch out for the Habs and Sens in a few years!

  3. Thank God….we don't need zegras… We need a goal scorer… Got too many play makers already … Nobody to put it in the net except Laine but he can't skate so he won't count lol we need a kovalev/camalleri type player

  4. Zegras as a skilled forward will never happen but Zegras as a 4th liner pest/agitator is where he will shine. Guy is in his 4th year and is too 5 hated player in the league even his teammates hate him. When he reached full potential as just an agitator he’s going to be peak. Ppl thought the Stecher and Troy Terry orbital bone stuff was bad just wait till he accepts his fate and goes full villain.

  5. I don't get why Logan get included in every single trade rumor for montreal , let's actually give him a chance in the NHL

  6. So, Zegras was a potential insurance policy that turned out to be irrelevant as we drafted Demidov. Considering this all happened last summer, it really doesn't matter.
What counts now is firstly getting Demidov to Canada. Secondly, drafting a decent centre and a stay-at-home defenceman in the first round.
Of course, this is all contingent with KH not trading those picks away for a 2C.
Definitely do not trade Logan Mailloux away, no what happens.

  7. I don't understand what is the hype around Zegras. He keeps constantly coming up with "trade rumors" in Montreal. His fanboys need to get real.

  8. I don’t think it’s accurate. Zegras is a Centre. Demidov is a winger. Trade should have been Dach and either Mailloux or 1st round pick. Now, I’d give Newhook and the lower 1st round pick.

  9. I've been saying this for awhile that for me Logan M . Is gonna b a great player , his skill set is good and his size so no trade for me
