  1. By saying “the young guys” you make it pretty damn easy for the coach/gm/owner to figure out who’s talking to the media. Just say the players. If it’s not the vets then it’s obviously not the whole team.

  2. When your star player is a guy that’s happier pulling off trick shots than winning, this is what you get.

  3. Diehard Ducks fan here. Couldn't agree more. Cronin doesn't seem like the answer. Our offense, power play and defensive coverage sucks, and you can see the players just mail it in based on their body language

  4. Hockey players are so soft these days, they complain about media being to hard on them, and too much pressure playing in a Canadian market, and now their crying because the coach is too hard and yelling.

  5. Teams need to start taking chances on their assistant coaches. Look at the Jets. Arneils first year as a head coach hes 17-3. Probaby going to win the Jack Adams award.

  6. All those young players living in Orange County is really bad for their development. You see it in baseball too with young players on the Angels. It’s way too luxurious of an area for young players to grow

  7. NHL players should just coach themselves. They are quickly becoming the most spoiled, pampered athletes in sports.

  8. Already? He is new right? Maybe bring in Mike Keenan? Or try to get Torts from the Flyers? Sorry Cronin if this is true move on Verbeek.

  9. Sounds like a bunch of young guys who’s never been held accountable and have no good veteran leadership in the locker room

  10. With this being things that were said in the offseason i would imagine thats what they are trying to fix with hiring these new assitant coaches. Hard to say though but i do wonder if feelings have changed since.

  11. has anyone been watching the ducks night in and night out?? i have and it looks like there’s some real chem being built amongst the forwards and the dmen

  12. They went and snagged Trouba like it was sly then realized no one wanted him or his contract. 😂

  13. You'd think being compensated with a few million dollars per year, the coach would be able to yell at the players? I kind of understand their reasoning. Once you make it to the ahow, you shouldn't have to ever be exposed to any situation in which your grown adult feelings could possibly be hurt.
