😂 we're flopping turkeys here Not sniping seals.
Ive found dropping the pic rail and going with a direct mount to be very pleasing. Also upgrading to a more premium red dot negates a lot of the issue of red dots failing.
Gonna need a chin weld not a cheek weld with Steve’s gun lol
no way that I would walk in the turkey woods with a black shotgun..what color are turkeys?..just sayin.
Its been 17 years since feminists, homosexuals, liberals, transgenders, etc have taken over, and im still not used to it, especially Seing feminists with guns, sad world.
Who getting pumped for spring 25’?
Very cool breakdown. I only wish I could afford a tuneup like that. Very cool.
More of this, please. Great to see details of the gear and guns.
I'm living vicariously through MeatEater, from a country where all hunting is prohibited.
Rem 870 with tru glo slug sights Xtra full choke winchester long beard xr #6 sling done
What length are your barrels?
Wtf
How far off the stock do you need to hold your head to see through that sight ?
If I can get my cheek burried in the stock and get down on the gun, I'm without question way more accurate and consistent shot after shot… Especially with magnum turkey loads…
Love the setups. I have a Youth model Beretta 20 Gauge semi auto that I started using as my turkey gun once I discovered Federal #9 TSS. The combo is great for chasing Merriam's in the mountains. Beats the hell out of lugging around the Rem Model 1100 12 gauge.
Kill the background music. Totally annoying and distracting.
This may be a dumb question, but I see this video was posted April 2024, and Steve says he will be hunting early season in MS in 2025. Obviously Steve isn't a resident of MS, meaning he would have to get some type of non-resident license. So how did he know that he will be able to hunt in MS this far in advance? The MDWFP website indicates that the application period doesn't even open until 2/21/25.
This has been a great commercial for Vortex and TSS. LOL
A picatiny rail mounts a reddot to high ..that obnoxious thing on Steve's gun is insane cant even get your cheek on the gun at all …get at my boy sumtoy and get your gun set up properly
What is the length of these barrels?
Way over complicated. Focus on gear rather than the humble pursuit of game.
I see none are camo. I've always been curious about if a camo gun is needed for turkey hunting.
