  1. I was hoping he would pull off the forsberg in the shootout like he did in the past but we take those

  2. What did we just see?? Did we just see EP40 with a double fist pump then a "Let'sGo" after scoring that goal. When have we ever see him do that? Could it be he has a heart? Let's see if this game can be a springboard for this team. Lots of emotion at the end of that game. I only hope this team can stand up for QH a little more. They need to protect that dude at all cost.

  3. pettersson was horrible for the first 2 periods. he is not back. and I've been team petey this whole time

  4. No matter what happens if they make playoffs or not i want new ownership in VAN have been saying that since the bird brains bought the team. I vote for Michael Buble Ryan Reynolds and snoop dog and whom ever else they would need to pull it off and they would do a 10000% better job than what we have now

  5. I doubted him called him a twig said was to small no compete i hope he continues to prove me wrong Personally i feed off the locals/haters doubting me i wouldnt be able to survive without it

  6. Good for EP40. Happy for him. I still think if he can beef up a bit by adding 20 pounds this off season to be at 195 pounds would help him lots

  7. Right. Next game you will change your mind again. One game doesn’t change anything. We will never know this season.

  8. People look to much on goals and assists instead of overall performance. If we look at expected goals (all situations) EP40 wasn’t even top 5 for the Canucks. If we look at xG% then it looks a lot better (80 %). He still have a way to go but till will give him some confidence. Also back pairings struggled which is worrying.

  9. The amount of flames fans calling that D-Petey hit dirty and saying Zary was justified is baffling. Zary jumped up to the head and elbowed DPetey, then elbowed him when he was on the ice. Needs 2-3 games

  10. We’re celebrating a 100 million dollar player scoring his 14th goal in game 65.

I’m so sick of the kid gloves
I’m so tired of hearing he’s back

He has single handedly destroyed this core and we want to give him credit for getting a tap in against a garbage team.

He’s only “trying” now so he doesn’t get traded before his no trade clause kicks in. Next season he will be back to floating and falling and whining again.

He will never score 20 goals again in his career.

  11. He's always been a top 5 defensive forward, along the lines of Guy Charbonneau, who was the gold standard for defensive forwards in the 80s and 90s for Montreal and Dallas. But for that contract, he has to get back to an 80-100 point player. The last 3 games have been steps in the right direction. He hasn't put up huge numbers, but he's been a key player. He just has to keep up with the Ovechkin slap shot from the face-off dot and keep battling. He's never going to be a physical presence, but that's okay. He just has to be an excellent 2 way forward, and last game, he was. I've always seen him as Bergeron with more offence.
