Seems like The Samueli’s / Ducks are saving money for the multi year Honda Center renovation. If they spent money on TWO established players we’d have a legit team.
This is what I expected for the most part. Just glad minty and zelly can play lol
The rebuild is slow, but steady. It seems to be moving along. It's obvious they want to develope the young core players. They can't get better unless they play. The Ducks seem to be tight with money too. Sorry to see Dumoulin go. He was solid. That being said the Ducks have been playing good for a while, maybe adding 1 or two players at the deadline might have gotten them over the hump into the playoffs, but nope. I think they need to add a gritty forward that can fight and score. It seems the Ducks get pushed around sometimes. Overall, I'm optimistic about this team. Lots of talent that just needs to continue coming together.
Traff sounds like an interesting player. I thought he was just gonna be a throw in but from what I've read there could be something there.
Kinda sad about Doumalin saying he wanted to stay but this is a business and all. Wishing him luck in NJ.

About what I expected on the deadline. It’s not time for a fire sale anymore. Keep building and get what you can for expiring contracts. If they play really well and some other teams fall off, they could squeak into the playoffs, but it’s not likely. For Now I’m wondering how long before Senneke comes up, And what next season will look like.

I can see why more moves weren't made. Turning a fourth into a second and a prospect was great to see, though! This year's draft after the first ten or so isn't all that deep anyway.

6 points out is actually 6 games , what that actually means if the teams ahead go 10-10 the ducks have to go 16-4 …..if they do better then 50/50 then you basically have to win all 20

I’m sooo tired of this team not being able to bring in big names. Instead it’s a bunch of prospects and draft picks. They don’t mind trading away some though. SMH.
They should’ve traded Gudas and gave the C to Trouba. Gudas is a liability and gives up some stupid plays the other team seems to have a knack of taking advantage of
