Ur now my 1# channel. I’ve said this exact thing before. I completely agree but I have one question. When Trent Frederick comes back, where do you put him and what is his role other then hitting and fighting.

I totally agree with you, Austin as much as I love Nugent Hopkins. He’s just not doing anything up there unfortunately and I think he could be better utilized elsewhere. Yeah the janitor has not shown up to work. No clue what’s going on there but something needs to change and it’s about times. Skinner gets another shot of top because he does have the potential to be there And I couldn’t agree more podzy who I think has been pretty good and aggressive and I like him, but I think I like him as the fourth liner
Oh, I also really agree on Rico. He’s doing nothing as a settlement he needs to move or be gone.
I know everybody is talking about Ovechkin, but let’s look at the age of Corey Perry. Let’s look at the hockey that he has been playing this year. He has just been on freaking believable. We could not possibly ask for more from the worm. I think it’s truly remarkable what he is doing right now at his age.

As a fan, I really loved when k o y came in last year and turned things around, it made me a fan of him. But this year with all the fire power that he’s had and the way he just keeps shuffling the deck. I just feel like all year long we’ve never established true lines that distance instinctively know where each other is going to be and what they are going to do. I think for the Oilers, a big part of their success has been being able to blindly move the puck to the right place. I see it all the time guys dropping guys moving the pocket or typically someone should be as someone could be or whatever someone they’ve been playing with just hasn’t beenin those spots
Skinner needs to be on top6 more. I mean even Jeff skinner left Buffalo, sabers are still in a bad position 🤷🏼♂️ LGO
I'm pretty sure they keep nuge glued to mcdavid because of how hard he goes 200ft.
If mcdavid loses the puck he's usually going Mach Jesus the opposite of the pucks new direction and you need a forward that will always work hard on the back check.

I hate the way the oilers play with McDavid on the ice, both 5v5 and PP. McDavid flies around in circles and everyone just stands there and waits. They either need him to calm the F down or they need to find guys to play with him.
If Arvi & Skin are not scoring with 29, I'd like to see Max Jones on the line with Draisaitl

Watching Jackyboy Hughes take that fall was heart-wrenching for my second team. Markstrom is back though and helping win games, Cody Glass has really stepped into Hughes role and we are getting that depth scoring finally out of the rest of the squad. The Oilers cannot step into Prudential Center thinking this is going to be an easy win. Yes, I think they are the better team, and the Oil traditionally know how to play Markstrom, much like they have Otteingers number. But New Jersey has four lines of scoring and they play off the rush pretty damn well.
Super happy with the line shake up. Not that I tend to applaud when any Oiler has to watch from the box, especially when, outside of statistics, I don't think Janmark has ever played a lazy game. However, we need scoring on those top two lines. I actually would have preferred to swap Nuge and Skinner, I think its McDavid that needs a trigger man, whereas Drai IS the trigger man more often than not. Would be best to have someone that can do both with him, but Nuge can pass, and Drai can score, not really sure why they wouldn't want him on his wing. Honestly though, the turnover creating and forechecking threat from Skinner-McDavid-Hyman sounds like the right line. BUT! I'm not the coach, they see and know things I don't, maybe they have tried this plenty of times in scims and its just never translated from paper.

Knob said today that Janmark is actually sick today, not scratched. I do wish he was heathy scratched though.
I would love to see McDavid, Draisaitl, Jones, Walman, Nurse on the ice together. I reckon it would work well
