If the Bruins make the playoffs this year, Sweeney will be back. If the Bruins do not make the playoffs this year, Sweeney will be back. The trade deadline insured that. What happens from now on until the rest of the season will have no bearing on Sweeney's job because no one lets a lame duck GM conduct a fire sale. Sweeney is back for at least this year. If Sweeney was in trouble for next year, he'd be gone already.
Harry Sinden would’ve made trades before Thanksgiving. HE didn’t fart around and wait until the eleventh hour.

I have been saying all season it has been a chore to watch this team, but last nights game was legitimately enjoyable. Even with them rolling out a team of 3rd liners everyone looks engaged and that's all you can really ask for at this point with the roster that is out there.
Making the playoffs would actually go against sweeney. It would make bostons picks not as valuable and he was clearly trying to dump pieces and try to mini tank for a high draft pick. These guys beside middlstdt wasn't supposed to perform well this year.
Everything that was going on was from in the locker room the chemistry was off that usually happens from two things money and girls so after they Purge all these negative players look what you got guys just weren't pulling on the rope together you could see it
