  1. Damn a lot of people didn't think the isles were gonna be very good! I was one of them I'm not gonna lie! But so far they are proving me and a lot other people wrong. I'm happy for them and their fans!

  2. What a difference a better coaching staff makes. Barry Trotz comes in and finally gets Nelson to function as a Top 6 Center and Korn improves both Lehner and Greiss into one hell of a tandem.

Isles lead their division and with a goal differential of +12, it’s hard not see this as a very strong start!

  3. greatest dynasty in the history of professional sports belongs to the islanders. It was a unbelievable accomplishment it really was,the heights to which our team soared.Everybody in their professional lives should aspire to do what the islanders did. They made long island so proud. We had the bossys trottiers smiths and potvins of the world, but let me tell you the real reason we won all those cups. Its because of the character and integrity of our great coach and gm Al Arbour and Bill Torrey. You will not fine two better human beings in any walk of life.Thats the reason we won 4 cups in a row 19 consecutive playoff series and basically got robbed of a 5th straight cup.We miss them a lot and everything they meant to long island and the islanders.

  4. This team is the real deal.. They are only getting better as the season unfolds.. Lamoriello knows how to build a team.. unlike previous bozos like Mike Millbury or Garth Snow
