Team USA men’s players react after 5-1 Olympic ice hockey win over Slovenia on Sunday (16 February) in Sochi.
Team USA’s Kevin Shattenkirk had the following to say after the USA’s win over Slovenia on Sunday:
“I think we easily could have rested on last night’s win. I think after such an emotional game, it’s draining in a way to come back into an atmosphere that’s maybe not as rowdy and just get yourself going again. I think Phil Kessel did a good job of kind of taking things on his shoulders in the first period and playing and making some big plays for us.”
