After 4 memorable years with the Colombia Lions, Mike Smith transferred to the Michigan Wolverines for 1 season. The Burr Ridge, Illinois native averaged 9 points, 5 assists on 41/41/79 shooting splits in 32 minutes per game. Per 100 possessions, the 5’11” guard averaged 16.8 points, 9.9 assists, and 5 rebounds through 28 games played. He also finished the season 1st in the Big Ten for assists per game. Mike had one of his best games of the season against Maryland in the Big Ten Conference Tournament. He dropped a season-high 18 points in addition to a career-high 15 assists to earn the win.
