What is NobLocks!! Deal!!! Plays Stuart Skinner when he stinks, then plays Pickard and pick gets a win, then Pickard has a shitty game while the whole team did and he stops playing Pickard. This coach plays favorites. Healthy scratches the 30 -40 goal a year guy Jeff Skinner and when he does play him puts on forth or maybe 3rd line, and Jeff Skinner still has more goals then guys playing every game on the second line. Cory Perry and Jeff Skinner should be upfront at least 3rd line minimum. Id argue that stats prove Skinner and Perry on 2nd line with Drysaitl. Are Goalies can get us to the cup again. We need a coach that doesn't look like he's still in pre season trying to figure out his team. Knobloch!! If it's ego ??? Personalty differences?? Please I'm asking you to suck it up. Play your best guys you know who they are, and I'm not talking McDavid and Dri , if you don't like Skinner then use him . He'll bring scoring up a bit, and sell him next year. And when a goalie sucks don't let him keep playing for gosh sakes.

I think this is the beginning of the end for Knobloch. This team is way too predictable. They will let him fail the rest of the season. Management didn't help him by not getting an elite goalie.

Hi Patrick and all Oilers from Germany. Patrick you do not look very healthy, so I thank you very much for your message and Infos. I can tell you that a lot of fans go crazy about that team. On other sides here on you tube was written "I had enough from Stuart Skinner and Bouchard!" . And more "let's discuss about the slowest defenseman on the planet!". Hard words, combined with not good looking pictures of crab Stuart and snail Bouch. I could support my Team this time because it started at 0:00am. It was a shocking game, no good passing, no good changes, no checking, no scoring, no goaltending again. This will not be enough for a long run in the playoffs. I really hope they definitely know what they are doing!? Cheers from a sad fan from far away😮😮😮…

Patrick, nobody knows anything. Every team in the playoffs is one goal from being eliminated or one goal from winning it all. If it's not that way, it certainly feels like it. I really do think though they are not ready. Then again, I still remember in the 1997 playoffs, I was the only one, among my friends, who predicted the Red Wings would win it all even though their regular season record was only 38-26-18 (that's 18 ties, NOT overtime or shootout loss points). So, if you ask me who the heck can win it all, there's at least 10 strong condidates including Edmonton. I remember that at the start of the season, the Oilers were a slight favorite to win it all. The betting odds pay me 8.5 times the money if I had put 100 dollars, that's 8500 dollars. I remember it was 8.5 because well in 84-85 they won it all. And that team sucked going into the playoffs and dominated once it started. Glen Sather may have had a loaded gun in the dressing room LOL.
I have not seen many good team games from the Oilers this year. I think Knoblauch constantly juggling the lines has not allowed the players to gel as a unit. Jeff Skinner is constantly in and out of the line up even when he is playing well, which I don't understand, while others players like Janmark, who has had two goals all year, is allowed in. Bouchard has made so many mistakes this year but stays on the top line, why? There needs to be more accountability.
Skinner doesn't have to be Brodeur, that's if the shot count for the opposition is down. And that's also the high percentage shot count down too. You can't let any player get in the high slot area. It's pretty much deadly. Toughness alone with Trent Frederic and others won't do it. It needs to be a collective effort. All the time too. Make sure the pre game meals are enough and the motivation is up too. Forget last year as well. Thinking of last year won't help. Who really cares at this point? Thinking of it will just bring back memories of failure and the odd moment when people thought the Oilers could win it all. And then to see how far they really were, especially in the damn seventh game, well it's much pretty much super tough unless of course they only play a maximum of 1 seven game series and not two. They beat the Canucks in 7 but lost to Panthers in 7. Two different playoff years, ok, but the same year? That's too much if you ask me. Especially that both were on the road. Even one game 7 at home and one on the road won't cut it. Nowadays a game 7 is a game 7. It could be played on the frozen ocean and it wouldn't matter. It's nerves and it catches up after a while.
When the Oiler have to get 6 goals a game to win a game most times and Oilers management see's no problem with goalie issue's its time to take a breakfrom the stress of watching Oilers on work nights, till a goal tender coach at least comes in to fix this isuue and Defense gets corrected, i will have a break, something is broken with this team for sure.

Bouchard needs to be demoted to the third pair especially with their pick up. Sewer him for his shit play and avoid his agent thinking he’s worth any money. He isn’t.
They are missing 2 D men. Wallman playing opposite side. Skinner played as well as he has ever. The other goalie made more saves. Relax. The proof is in the playoffs.
How about the d stop turning the puck over in our own end? THAT'S why the oilers have been struggling. Skinner hasn't been great but it's not just goaltending. WAKE UP defencemen and stop turning the puck over.

Stu will find his game once he leaves and everyone will be wondering why we got rid of him. The problem is most likely the goalie coach since he's the only consistent factor through the goaltending carousel in Edmonton.

You missed the most important point. They need a GOALIE . In sports it's irrelevant how many goals you score. It's how many they score against you. Sorry but Skinner is not going to get you the Cup.
Team played down to the Sabres. Team defense was non existent. I’m hoping when Eck is back and Fredrick in the lineup some of the passengers get benched until they decide to give the effort required. Untouchable Bouchard definitely needs time watching from the press box. Walman a great addition. Goaltending is not going to change unless an injury so defense has to lock it down.
Maybe if the Oilers juice 💉 like panthers we'd be unstoppable too lol

I think the fact that they’ve had to come back from slow starts and coming back from being down goals in games has caught up to them. They just might be out of gas. Hopefully the new guys can bring life back to the team.
There will be no Stanley cup this year, the boys can’t get it together! Absolutely embarrassing at times!
