What a beast. Not an Ovi fan, so most of these goals are new to me (except for no. 1 – I mean everyone's seen that one before!), but his raw speed, power and ferocity on full display here. Just wow.

I have been a fan of hockey since I was 10 years old going to my first game ever in 1986. Hartford Whalers v the Montreal Canadiens. Didn’t see Gretzky in HFD until I saw him as a member of the Kings. To now witness someone ve on the verge of breaking his goals record is incredible. Akin to Smith passing Payton. Ripken passing Gehrig. Timeless records being broken. Sad to see one of these records broken but proud to be able to witness it. Come on, Ovi, do it!

The arm strength and balance it takes to score some of these has just simply never been matched in NHL history. Not so consistently, at the very least. Ovi is truly one of a kind.

Mann i remember so many of these. What a fun energetic guy to watch. Still going and I enjoy watching him play, but there is a part of me who misses watching him back in his days of explosive speed through the defence diving/doing whatever he could to will the puck into the net.
Extreme tenacity when driving to the net is an understatement.
I feel like it kinda shows that flopping around before shooting is sort of key. Mahomes does the same thing before he throws.
I remember turning on the tv exactly at the point ovechkin scored that goal against the rangers at the #3 spot, will forever be my favourite ovi goal, such a legend
