Didn't go far enough, IMO. Fox is done. He's way to slow and soft. Kreider, for all his size and speed, doesn't really give a sh*t any more. K. Miller is a turnover waiting to happen, and for a 6'5" guy, is more of a figure skater than a hockey player. Laf has let the Kreider/Mika attitude infect his play.
It doesn't matter for this season it's done , it's just what is Drury going to do in the offseason now . Lavi and Housley HAVE to be fired period, let Peca run out the season get a coach in the summer this team is cooked for the next few seasons.
Lindgren, Vesey needed to go, Smith was like a on and off switch with his play, J.T and Borgen good picks K. Miller lacks intensity.
I don’t have a problem with these trades. Should Laviolette be fired probably. Housley? Absolutely. Every Defenseman has regressed since he came here.

The biggest mistake is named laviolette. He ruined a great team in 1.5years
Only been a couple of games but so far like de Haan over Soucy. The trades did add some picks but also gave Drury a ton of cap space. Maybe some good free agents or trades post season.
Sadly, the Rangers value K'Andre Miller too much to actually trade him away. Having Phil Housley as the defensive coach is a horrible choice since Housley was all offense as a defender during his time as an NHL player in the league. Having a defensive coach that never actually played defense is still a very weird hire to me, that I still don't understand.
It isn't that the trades themselves were bad.
More that shaky management undermined team morale BEFORE any of the trades were made.
It isn't so much the players that left, but that more perhaps should have gone.
Again – You could trade for Scott Stevens and Nicholas Kronwall in their prime… and with this coaching staff, withing 2 games they too would be stick checking in No Contact Jerseys.
We get beat by worse teams because those players want the win more – you can't trade for heart and pride. But you can demand effort and results – and sanction when you don't get it.
All I see are good players like Robertson and de Haan being scratched, while others never even have to sit out a period.
Who can we hire to run this team from top to bottom? We need a total rebuild organizationally. Our farm stinks and the varsity has no identity. The power play dominance over the few years camouflaged our deficiency's at even strength and that's what costs us playoff time. Who can we bring in to finally turn this organization around . I have my thought I just like to hear some of yours.
Laviolette needs to go so can drury. Let messier be gm & let him hire a coach
2 top draft picks didn't pan out, dark times are a coming not hard to figure out.
Miller getting pouty already……not going to end well.
This seems to be either a head coach or defensive coaching issue.
What is our defensive structure? Seems to be no one can successfully implement the defensive system.
Also, how many too many men on the ice penalties do we have?
Seems the players we had/have aren’t exactly the defining issue.
I am still upset we didn’t give Knoblauch the head coach position and let him go to Edmonton. I don’t think we have these issues with him on the bench
Can't get excited, it seems, about these deadline trades, except for the draft picks. None of the players obtained move the needle for me. Dreary's best trade was getting Borgen & two picks for Kakko, who underperformed & has a bad attitude. Borgen has been terrific. Soucy & DeHaan just don't cut it for me either. Maybe they get better D in the offseason.
Im happy fir Vesey, hes playing with Miles Wood, who is one of the fastest guys in the league. Colorado is very high on him. I hope Jimmy gets an extension. 🍸🏒
