Matt Rempe has already been suspended twice in his career, four games and then eight games, both times for elbowing. And here he goes again, this time on Nick Blankenburg. There was a minor penalty, but no subsequent action by the DOPS. Same player. Same play. Same injury. How is this nothing?

At this point, is he just too tall and big for the game or is he just unable to hit properly because of, idk, a bad technique and bad teaching he received ? Or is he just malicious ?
How Rempe didn't get suspended for this is beyond me.
It's like he goes out of his way to put himself into a situation where he's "forced to" use his elbow. As if he had no control of the angle of approach. Funny thing how other players don't find themselves in this situation where they're "forced" to elbow.
Nah that is a straight up elbow
He took his hand off his stick 10' before the hit which is rather suspicious to me knowing his record of stupid. I think they need to start fining his coach and team as well.
Great to have you posting content again! Thank you.
Also jumped for some reason, even though he’s enormous and doesn’t need to jump to make contact.

Aww, I was hoping for:
"You and your family will be suspended for always and eTERnity.
"HAhahaHAhaha!"
Giving me McLaren on Zednik vibes.
How was that not 5 on the ice? I mean, other than Bettman's a big you-know-what?
If he kept his wings down he could still give crushing body checks and not get called for it. He should learn some discipline.
No, arm went up to make head contact. Absolutely malicious.
Of all people to give the benefit of the doubt!
Every time the NYRs lose with Rempe in the line up, I rejoice & all is well in the NHL.
