Pens need to go full rebuild.
Time for Dubas to trade Crosby to habs for Dach and picks. And then maybe habs also get Marner. Pens will not have a winning team. Marner would have 0 interest joining Pens. Will be many better options for Marner with contending teams or teams with good young core like the habs.
Crosby should have no interest in rebuilding the pens. He needs to go to a contending team like the avalanche. Or enjoy the game with a young core in Montreal that will include Demidov. If things don’t work in Montreal or he would like to finish off with the Avs , habs could trade him to the Avs summer 2026.
Pens are a dumpster fire.
I will not be surprised to see Marner and Matthews with the Penguins in the future. The Pens need some younger talent and have cap space. Dubas loves throwing out huge contracts.
I literally made the comment yesterday that Marner would be a Penguin 😂
why are they showing 2026-2028 draft picks without showing the 2025 picks?
If the leafs want to keep Mitch, they should offer him a 5 year contract worth $80ish mil. Full load as much as possible and defer a lot of it to keep the aav down. Doing it this way will allow him to sign one more contract after this.
Hextall extended Letang and Malkin NOT Dubas. Dubas promised 3 things when he took the reigns in Pittsburgh; 1, rebuild the farm….done! 2, rebuild the draft…..done! And 3rd, to build a team to be competitive with Crosby here for another run at a Cup……not done. With the cap space, potentially trading Karlsson in the off-season, and bringing up most likey 2 kids from Wilkes we'll have a ton to go after free agents and with our picks, which I assume we'll get even more trading EK, we can go after a trade that's needed! It'll be a fun summer for Dubas and the Pens ❤
