The goalpost won that game tbh. Although Edmonton didnt have their best game and that giveaway for the game winner is a perfect example of the breakdowns that lose the Oilers quite a few games.

Well well well … Interesting Florida shuts out the Sabres with starting Vanecek for the first time 4-0 on 21 saves and then we have Edmonton losing to the Sabres after yelling "No" Florida repeat. I understand why the Edm vs Fla rivalry is now a thing and it makes great hockey but lets keep it between us so embarrassing moments like these don't continue to happen. I still believe the Oilers have a shot to contend because they do have another level they can go but this ain't it.
Bouchard be like Happy Gilmore… can't skate or do defense, but man… what a shot!!!! LOL.

Blame the goalie all you want but when I see the Oilers play I see a very complacent team that shows a bit less emotion and hanger to win. I watch the Jets, the Leafs and especially the Senators and I see a drive to win. I don't see it with the Oilers.

It’s honestly impressive that with how good McDavid and Draisaitl are … Skinner and Bouchard are so bad that its enough to offset it on a lot of nights.
Been a real tough season to be a Sabres fan, feels great when you win a game over an amazing team. Also Thompson is special.
