Well we are moving up in the draft!
Good seeing you Jason. Great analysis of the Michkov play. You always add keen insight that comes from your years of experience. I like your comments about coach and player, "if you let it go will lead to anarchy in the room." God Bless you and your family this week.
DB had a good trade deadline. However, it makes the Seeler and Hathaway extensions all the more glaring.
This season was all about draft position and hopefully they can get into the top 5 and it's clear the team is cashing out so good possibility for that.
Torts is so exhausting, can't wait for him to be replaced.
The picks are complete gambles. I don't understand why people over value draft picks. How do you build a team solely on picks? Doesn't seem very smart. They need a vet leader to start, which they don't have. Coots is a joke. The captain can't even win a faceoff when the game is on the line. That shouldn't cost a lot of money, but i'm sitting here wondering when Danny is going to make a move that actually makes this team better. So far they are going backwards.
Hockey non top 15 picks are not exactly useless..but percentage wise don't spend more than a cup of coffee in the nhl
Talking about Laughton, remember, he was captain for team Canada juniors..he's always been a good leader
Nice to see Jason and Bill together again! Hope you and you're families are well! Go Flyers and Myrtetus!
Just wild how little these two seem to actually understand hockey, asset management and overall cap/roster contracts and engagements yet they get a pod upload on the official Flyers channel. Where can I submit my local conversations?
These two guys r clueless!
For an organization that Laughton going home to Toronto, Johnson to AVS etc.. It makes you think about cutter GAUTHIER and what was so bad he wouldn't talk to John Le Clair or Patrick Sharp besides GM…I'd love to know
The math Jason? They've been out of it since Thanksgiving…
Bad captain. When do we sit Torts?
I think getting rid of Kuzmenko was a mistake. You can't judge what happened on his previous teams. Look at what the Panthers did with some players who were not successful on previous teams. A third round pick isn't worth much. Didn't Briere owe the team a chance to make the playoffs? Now they have no chance.
These two- each kiss one cheek of Torts
Why trade Laughton but retain salary?
Danny B said last summer he expected the team to take a step backwards, so why is everyone complaing and want Torts fired?
Torts is a good coach for this team, ha has done a great job with the players they have.
Brian Smith mega cough during intermission was legendary! Talk about LOL!
Hey Jason, good to see you. You look good and sound good, hope you’re feeling good too. Great show. Meltzer always adds some interesting insight. Keep up the good work, and feel better.
They' re not made playoffs for another 3years if Danny continue his rebuild the Right way 👏🏒
Trade Konecny for big return, TK would be unhappy to Play with the Flyers and he's 28 years old 8 years Contract too long Trade for 2 Young talented players under 23 with size, anyway they' re in rebuild 🤷
Grebenkin maybe a good bottom 6 forwards with size and gritt
DANNY, BIG MISTAKE, OK OF GETTING RID OF LAUGHTON, BUT KUZMENKO, HE SHOULD HAVE STAYED – HE WAS PUTTING UP POINTS AND GOOD FOR BUDDY FOR MATVIE
HE MIGHTA WANTED TO STAY FOR MAYBE A BETTER CONTRACT KNOWING FLY BOYS ARE HOPING TO BE A CUP CONTENDER ONE OF THESE YEARS.
Konecny stoped skating look tired not agressive any more
We are too slow lost our passion where is the team that was first on shorthanded goals speed first on the puck?
Good trades because we need super stars not average players like a pasternak on every line
Always in the future i live for the present and it bugs me to see them loose like that where is the pride of 1973-74 and a Tim Kerr of the 80,s
