I'm not sure if other teams/coaches do this, but it seems once we get a lead, Laviolette plays the prevent game and we blow the lead every time. It turns into a 20 minute PK. This goes back to our playoff losses last year as well

Yes K.A. made a lousy pass to J.T. but the difference was how they got there.
Shesterkin coughed up the puck on Ottawa's first goal and on the tying goal they all coughed it including Shesterkin (though his teammate kind of pushed it aside with his stick).
Not to mention that Tkachuk's shot was stoppable in O.T.
For all the people giving laviolette a pass this year, please explain to me exactly what he has done well? Having the defensively atrocious and just flat out weak and irresponsible trocheck, laffy, panarin line on the ice with 2 and a half to go with a one goal leaders was ridiculous. You were a minute away from Ottawa having to pull their goalie and you put your least responsible line out there and they predictably play weak pathetic stick checking hockey and got their dicks kicked in and blew the game.
Schneider’s worst game of the season, stick checking on the tying goal was an embarrassing display.

They got pushed around. Other: Trocheck can't buy a goal…Lafreinere is INVISIBLE…K. Miller cannot handle the puck, and why is he consistently on the ice in OT?!
